采用逐段光滑位移矢假设，考虑了横向剪应力在层间的连续及表面的协调，用最小位能原理建立了复合材料面层夹层析的精化理论，所得控制方程含有７个未知量。本文理论可视为Ｌｉｂｒｅｓｃｕ夹层板模型的精化形式，它可直接计算出数值甚小但工程上颇为重要的层间应力。
