研究了用功时谱使脉冲包络锐化的算法，噪声的产生，以及平方包络积累使弱回波信号得以检测的算法，使深井探测仪的测量精度得以明显提高，预估所需混凝土数量准确性提高，解决了探测到淤泥层时回波淹没在噪声中的问题。
